These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by RESHIP (“RESHIP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or engaging our services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. Services

RESHIP provides end-to-end logistics and fulfillment solutions designed to facilitate the shipment of products into mainland China. Our services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Warehousing and storage
  • Order processing and fulfillment
  • Packing and labeling
  • International shipping and freight coordination
  • Customs clearance assistance
  • Last-mile delivery through third-party carriers
  • Customer service support
  • Regulatory and product registration assistance

RESHIP acts as a logistics and service provider and does not operate as a common carrier. Transportation and delivery services are performed by third-party logistics providers and carriers.

2. Eligibility

By using RESHIP’s services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements.
  • All information provided to RESHIP is accurate and complete.
  • You are authorized to ship the goods submitted to RESHIP.

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 Accurate Information

Customers must provide accurate and complete information regarding shipments, including but not limited to product descriptions, quantities, weights, dimensions, and declared values. RESHIP is not responsible for delays, penalties, or additional costs resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information.

3.2 Compliance with Laws

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all goods comply with applicable laws and regulations in the country of origin, Hong Kong, and mainland China, including customs, import/export, labeling, and safety requirements.

Customers must supply all required documentation, including invoices, certificates, licenses, and permits necessary for customs clearance and regulatory compliance.

4. Prohibited and Restricted Items

Customers may not ship any items that are illegal, hazardous, or restricted under applicable laws or carrier regulations. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs and controlled substances
  • Weapons, firearms, and ammunition
  • Explosives and hazardous materials
  • Counterfeit or infringing goods
  • Perishable goods without prior approval
  • Items prohibited by Chinese customs regulations

RESHIP reserves the right to refuse, return, or dispose of any shipment containing prohibited or undeclared items at the Customer’s expense.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Fees

All fees for RESHIP services, including storage, handling, shipping, customs processing, and additional services, are disclosed at the time of purchase or quotation and are subject to change without prior notice.

5.2 Payment Terms

Payment is required in full prior to the initiation of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. RESHIP reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for unpaid balances.

5.3 Additional Charges

Customers are responsible for any additional costs incurred due to:

  • Customs duties and taxes
  • Regulatory or inspection fees
  • Storage beyond the included period
  • Address corrections or re-delivery
  • Returns or disposal of goods
  • Weight or dimension discrepancies
  • Compliance or documentation issues

6. Storage

6.1 Storage Period

RESHIP may provide short-term storage as part of its services. Extended storage may incur additional fees as communicated to the Customer.

6.2 Abandoned Goods

Goods left unclaimed or unpaid for more than 90 days may be deemed abandoned. RESHIP reserves the right to dispose of or sell such goods to recover outstanding charges, in accordance with applicable laws.

7. Shipping and Delivery

7.1 Estimated Delivery Times

All delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. RESHIP is not liable for delays caused by customs processing, regulatory inspections, weather conditions, carrier issues, or other events beyond its control.

7.2 Third-Party Carriers

RESHIP coordinates transportation through third-party carriers. Once goods are transferred to these carriers, their terms and conditions may also apply.

7.3 Customs Clearance

While RESHIP assists with customs procedures, the Customer remains the importer of record and is ultimately responsible for compliance with all import regulations.

8. Regulatory and Registration Assistance

RESHIP may provide guidance and administrative support related to regulatory compliance and product registration in China. However, RESHIP does not guarantee approval by any governmental authority and is not liable for delays or rejections resulting from regulatory decisions.

Incorrect details may result in additional charges or delays.

9. Risk of Loss and Insurance

9.1 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss or damage to goods transfers to the Customer upon delivery to the final destination or to the designated carrier, whichever occurs first.

Shipping insurance is not included unless explicitly purchased. Customers are encouraged to obtain insurance coverage for their shipments. In the absence of insurance, RESHIP’s liability is limited as outlined below.

5. Payments

We accept payments through secure third-party payment processors. By placing an order, you authorize Reship to charge your selected payment method for the total amount, including shipping fees and applicable taxes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • RESHIP’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to its services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Customer for the specific shipment giving rise to the claim.
  • RESHIP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, revenue, market opportunity, or business interruption.
  • RESHIP is not responsible for delays, seizures, or damages caused by customs authorities or third-party carriers.

11. Indemnification

The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RESHIP, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, penalties, or expenses arising from:

  • Violation of applicable laws or regulations
  • Shipment of prohibited or restricted items
  • Inaccurate or incomplete shipment information
  • Infringement of intellectual property rights
  • Failure to obtain necessary licenses or approvals

12. Returns, Refusals, and Disposal

If a shipment is refused, undeliverable, or rejected by customs authorities, RESHIP may, at the Customer’s expense:

  • Return the shipment to the origin
  • Store the shipment subject to additional fees
  • Dispose of the shipment where return is not feasible or permitted

RESHIP will make reasonable efforts to notify the Customer prior to taking such action.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on RESHIP’s website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of RESHIP and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Customers may not use, reproduce, or distribute such content without prior written consent.

14. Confidentiality

RESHIP will take reasonable measures to protect confidential information provided by Customers and will use such information solely for the purpose of delivering its services, except where disclosure is required by law or regulatory authorities.

15. Force Majeure

RESHIP shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, labor disputes, governmental actions, war, terrorism, cyberattacks, or transportation disruptions.

16. Termination

RESHIP reserves the right to suspend or terminate services at its discretion if a Customer:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Provides false or misleading information
  • Fails to make required payments
  • Ships prohibited or restricted goods

Upon termination, all outstanding fees become immediately due.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any disputes arising from or related to RESHIP’s services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

18. Amendments

RESHIP reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and RESHIP regarding the services provided and supersede all prior agreements, communications, or understandings, whether written or oral.
